Article Processing Charges (APC)

Pakistan Journal of Clinical Research (PJCR) is a gold Open Access journal. To sustain our editorial operations and ensure permanent, unrestricted access to scholarly research, we apply a transparent fee structure.

1. No Submission Fees

PJCR does not charge any submission, editorial, or "desk" fees. Authors may submit their manuscripts for consideration without any financial obligation.

2. Article Processing Charge (APC)

A one-time Article Processing Charge (APC) is applicable only after a manuscript has undergone rigorous double-blind peer review and has been officially accepted for publication by the Editorial Board.

  • National Authors (Pakistan): PKR 35,000

  • International Authors: USD 140

3. Payment Transparency

  • When to pay: Payment is requested only at the final "Acceptance" stage.

  • Proof of Payment: Authors are not required to provide any payment information or receipts at the time of initial submission. A formal invoice with payment instructions will be issued by the Editorial Office only upon successful peer review.

  • What it covers: The APC covers DOI assignment, professional copyediting, XML/HTML metadata generation, and permanent hosting on our servers.
